Quality Assurance Analyst Jobs – Career Opportunity

  • Job Context

    We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst/Engineer to spearhead the QA at our startup. We are looking for a suitable candidate who would take care of the quality of software products at its best shape by performing extensive testing and validation. You will work very closely with development teams to identify testing defects; ensuring that our solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Job Responsibility

    • Test Planning, Test design/test Case/Script Development for desired test coverage.
    • Use bug-tracking tools to identify, document and track defects/ issues.
    • Work with developers to understand product requirements and give feedback on usability of features.
    • Perform regression, performance and load testing to test the reliability and scalability of applications.
    • Reviewing test results, and reporting these to the stakeholders alongside areas for improvement.
    • Volunteer for code reviews, helping to improve standards of quality in the software development process.
    • Keep abreast of the best practices and trends in QA methodologies and tools across all relevant industries.
    • Aid with building, supporting and maintaining automated testing infrastructure & tools.

  • Eligibility

    • Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields is necessary in QA analyst jobs.
    • Possesses a sound knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Methodologies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience Requirement

    • At least 2 years experience software quality assurance or equivalent is required in quality assurance analyst jobs.
    • Working knowledge of testing tools (ie: Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) and methodologies( ie: Agile/Waterfall).
    • Hands-on experience with writing and executing test cases & managing defect tracking.
